Lieutenant General Kirill Budanov, head of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), made an unannounced visit to combat positions in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
The visit was a memorable moment for the soldiers, the intelligence says, as Budanov inspected their living and working conditions and presented several troops with state awards, Caliber.Az reports via Ukrainian media.
Earlier, GUR official Andriy Yusov highlighted that Budanov is consistently engaged with frontline personnel, frequently participating in combat missions alongside them to monitor conditions and boost morale.
