Families arriving in Khojavand, Aghdam, and Lachin have officially received the keys to their new homes.
On December 17, a new group of displaced people arrived in the Girmizi Bazar settlement of the Khojavand district, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Keys to apartments were handed over to 18 families, totalling 90 people, resettled in Girmizi Bazar.
Additionally, keys to apartments were handed over to 16 families, comprising 45 people, who were sent to the village of Khydyrly in the Aghdam district.
Moreover, the next group of displaced people reached the settlement of Hadrut in Khojavand, consisting of 6 families, totalling 26 people.
The ceremony in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts was attended by representatives of the Presidential Special Envoy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.
On the same day, another group of displaced people arrived in Lachin city, where keys to apartments were handed over to 17 families, comprising 69 people.
Representatives of the Presidential Special Envoy for the Lachin district and the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons attended the key handover ceremony.

Another group of former internally displaced persons has departed for the city of Lachin, the settlements of Hadrut and Girmizi Bazar in the Khojavand district, and the village of Khydyrly in the Aghdam district.
At this stage, 17 families (69 people) are returning to Lachin, six families (26 people) to Hadrut, 18 families (91 people) to Girmizi Bazar, and 16 families (45 people) to Khydyrly, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The families had previously been temporarily housed in dormitories, sanatoriums, children’s camps, unfinished buildings, and administrative facilities.
Following the victory of the Azerbaijani Army in the Patriotic War under the leadership of President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, former internally displaced persons have been given the opportunity to return to their homeland voluntarily, safely, and with dignity after 30 years.
Residents expressed gratitude to the head of state and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for comprehensive state support, thanked the Azerbaijani army for liberating the territories from occupation, and honoured the memory of the martyrs who lost their lives for this cause.
