Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has ratified an agreement between the governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Maldives establishing a mutual exemption from visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports.
The approval, announced on the official website of the Azerbaijani president, formalizes the framework for visa-free travel between the two countries, facilitating easier movement for citizens of both nations, Caliber.Az reports.
The agreement was initially signed on September 24 in New York, marking a step toward strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
