The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) successfully intercepted an attempt to smuggle nine pistols and a significant quantity of ammunition across the country’s eastern border.
According to a statement from the army’s press service, aerial surveillance and monitoring units detected a drone crossing the border under the cover of night, Caliber.Az reports.
Troops dispatched to the location subsequently located and seized both the drone and the concealed weapons.
The IDF emphasized that its ongoing vigilance and advanced surveillance capabilities continue to play a critical role in preventing the illicit transfer of arms into Israeli territory.
