BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 29. Uzbekistan’s
Namangan region has signed an investment agreement with Italian
partners to develop a project for processing, packaging and
exporting grapes and other fruits on October 28 in Italy.

According to the Namangan regional administration, the agreement
was signed between Italian partners of the Vinarija Marko and
Uzbekistan-based Siberian Wellness-Namangan following bilateral
talks during delegation's visit to Italy.

The delegation is led by Namangan regional governor Shavkatjon
Abdurazzakov and includes representatives of relevant government
agencies and local businesses.

The project will focus on processing and packaging grapes and
other fruit products for export, creating opportunities to expand
agricultural value-added production and strengthen the region’s
access to international markets.

The regional administration said the ongoing visit is intended
to expand international cooperation and create new opportunities
for investment in Namangan’s economy.

Siberian Wellness-Namangan is a company established in Namangan
region that operates in the cultivation and processing of
agricultural products. Vinarija Marko specializes in grape
cultivation.

The agreement marks a step toward developing cooperation between
businesses in Uzbekistan and Italy in the agricultural sector. By
combining local agricultural production with investment and
expertise from foreign partners, the project aims to support fruit
processing and export activities.

The Namangan delegation’s visit to Italy is continuing, with
further meetings expected to focus on strengthening international
business ties and attracting investment to the region.
