Russian company Wildberries & Russ (RWB) has launched its WB Taxi ride-hailing service in Yerevan, Armenia, after previously introducing the service in Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The company said, at the initial stage, special invitations will be sent to Wildberries employees and partners, while other users can download the WB Taxi app and join the waiting list, Caliber.Az reports.
Access will gradually be expanded.
“We will continue developing the product to improve the user experience and expand WB Taxi’s geographical coverage,” Anatoly Smorgonsky, the manager of the company’s services division, announced.
Users will have access to three fare categories: Standard, Comfort and Multi. The latter allows users to search for a car across several categories at once.
RWB also said drivers would be offered transparent partnership terms and a reduced aggregator commission.
The company launched the first beta test of WB Taxi in Belarus in summer 2025. According to media reports, the company plans to launch its own taxi service in Russia in 2026.
In April 2026, RWB acquired the Citymobil, Taxovichkof and Gruzovichkof ride-hailing services.
