Ireland has deported 43 Georgian citizens, who were returned to Tbilisi, Irish law enforcement authorities have said.
Those deported included 33 men and seven women, as well as a family with three children, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.
Police noted that four of the deported men had previously been convicted of various offences.
Ireland’s Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration Jim O’Callaghan stressed that the majority of Georgian citizens living in the country are there legally.
