Poland is joining a coalition aimed at developing new capabilities to defend against ballistic missiles, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on September 18, Interfax reports.
“It is now clear that Poland is also part of this initiative,” Tusk said.
Anti-Ballistic Missile Coalition was formed on July 13 during a meeting of the “coalition of the willing” in Paris.
Its members are Ukraine, France, the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Norway, Denmark and Sweden.
Tusk had previously said Poland would join if Polish companies put forward a ready-made industrial proposal.
"Companies ready to contribute their capabilities are joining it. Polish enterprises are currently analyzing their options," Tusk said.
