Armenia’s accession to the European Union is “entirely possible," Poland is ready to support Yerevan’s closer integration with the bloc, Polish Foreign Ministry State Secretary Marcin Bosacki said.
Bosacki said Poland also supports expanding Armenia’s economic ties with the EU and is willing to develop bilateral cooperation with Yerevan in trade, investment, defence and security, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
“Armenia and Poland share the same values. These include democracy, sovereignty, and a commitment to the right of peoples to shape the future of their country through their own efforts,” Bosacki said.
He added that Poland, as an influential EU member, was seeking to help Armenia realise its ambition of joining Western institutions.
