The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Space Force has said it destroyed a US MQ-1 Predator reconnaissance and strike drone over the waters of the Strait of Hormuz, Tasnim reports.
Iran has previously reported shooting down another US MQ-1 drone over the southern city of Bandar Abbas after it said the drone violated Iranian airspace.
