Foreign diplomats accredited in Azerbaijan have visited Jidir Duzu (Jidir Plain) in the city of Shusha as part of a two-day trip to the country’s Karabakh and East Zangazur regions.
During the visit, the guests were briefed on the historical and cultural significance of the area while taking in panoramic views from the site, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Jidir Duzu is considered one of the main attractions and a recognised symbol of the city of Shusha.
Diplomats also visited the historic Yukhari Govhar Aga Mosque, where envoys from Muslim-majority countries performed prayers.
The delegation comprises 150 representatives from 58 countries and nine international organisations.
