Azerbaijan to send another diesel shipment to Armenia

Azerbaijan is set to send another shipment of diesel fuel to Armenia on September 2, with 989 tonnes to be transported by rail.

Seventeen tank wagons carrying the fuel will depart from Bilajari station, operated by Azerbaijan Railways, towards Boyuk-Kasik station, Caliber.Az reports, citing domestic media.

The latest shipment comes after Azerbaijan previously exported around 15,000 tonnes of diesel fuel to Armenia, along with nearly 5,000 tonnes of AI-92 and AI-95 petrol.

Azerbaijan has also facilitated the transit of Russian goods to Armenia.

More than 55,000 tonnes of grain, around 9,000 tonnes of fertiliser, 1,414 tonnes of propane, 133 tonnes of aluminium, 1,114 tonnes of coal and 334 tonnes of timber have been transported through Azerbaijani territory.
