Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on September 1 on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO)summit in Bishkek.
According to the Kyrgyz presidential press service, the sides noted the high level of Kyrgyz-Turkish relations, which are developing within the framework of a comprehensive strategic partnership at both bilateral and multilateral levels.
The two leaders highlighted broad opportunities for expanding co-operation in trade, the economy and investment, as well as education, healthcare, military-technical co-operation and other areas.
Zhaparov and Erdoğan reaffirmed their interest in further deepening the strategic partnership and implementing joint projects aimed at strengthening mutually beneficial co-operation between the two countries.
