Another Azerbaijani educational institution, Baku Slavic University, will teach Armenian in the coming years.

Spokesperson Sabina Huseynzade said the decision to teach Armenian was based on a resolution adopted by the university’s Academic Council, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Last year, BSU Rector Anar Nagiyev confirmed that the university planned to introduce Armenian language courses starting from the 2026–2027 academic year.

Armenian is currently taught at Baku State University and Azerbaijan University of Languages.
