The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency carried out strikes on five Hamas weapons depots and a rocket-launching position during military operations in the Gaza Strip, the IDF said.
According to the Israeli military, the weapons facilities contained rockets, firearms, explosive devices, grenades and other military equipment that Hamas militants used to carry out attacks against Israeli forces.
The IDF said some of the weapons depots were located inside mosques and near humanitarian facilities.
The Israeli military did not provide further details on the locations of the sites or the timing of the strikes.
