Poland’s far-right Confederation alliance has congratulated Ukraine on its Independence Day by putting up posters in Warsaw calling for an end to social benefits for Ukrainian refugees.

Anna Swiergocka, a representative of the New Hope party, which is in the coalition, said on X that on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day, “we remind everyone of our demand: zero aid for Ukrainians,” Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

Swiergocka also shared footage showing a truck bearing party symbols and calls to abolish social benefits driving through the city.

In one part of the video, a man approaches the vehicle, shouts at the driver and hits the truck’s hood.
