Russian forces have struck 22 settlements in Ukraine’s Sumy region and launched more than 20 attacks on five districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the past 24 hours, also damaging a border crossing with Moldova in a drone attack, Ukraine’s National Police have said.
It noted that following the attack, the international Vinogradovka–Vulcanesti border crossing on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border was temporarily closed, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukrainian media.
In the Sumy region, five people were injured in attacks involving guided aerial bombs, drones, mortars and artillery.
Private homes, a gas pipeline, administrative buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Nikopol, Dnipro and Synelnykove districts, as well as Kryvyi Rih and Pavlohrad, came under attack.
Three people were injured, while a dormitory, gymnasium, kindergarten, shopping centre and residential buildings were damaged.
