US President Donald Trump shared a post on his Truth Social account, declaring that Iran was nearing a complete collapse.
“IRAN IS COMPLETELY COLLAPSING!!!” he wrote.
Trump’s post came amid intensifying US economic pressure on Tehran, shortly after Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent described the situation as the “endgame,” citing the claimed dismantling of much of Iran’s military capabilities and nuclear program.
Earlier, the US president had announced an “economic D-Day” — a sweeping financial offensive of isolation and sanctions against Iran and any countries providing it economic lifelines.
