BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 24. Kyrgyzstan created
more than 273,000 new jobs in 2025.
This was announced in a statement published by the press service
of the Kyrgyz President, citing President Sadyr Zhaparov’s remarks
in Bishkek during the opening ceremony of the Ak-Keme hotel on
August 24.
"Thanks to the ongoing reforms, more than 273,000 new jobs were
created in Kyrgyzstan in 2025. Kyrgyzstan is opening its doors wide
to the world. As the number of tourists, entrepreneurs and foreign
visitors coming to our country grows, the quality of services
provided to them should also improve. This is particularly
important for Bishkek, the heart and face of our country," he
said.
According to him, the capital hosts state and official visits,
international meetings, forums and other major events.
"Therefore, having hotels, conference halls and service
infrastructure in Bishkek that meet international standards is of
great importance,” the head of state said, expressing confidence
that the fully renovated Ak-Keme hotel, with its 174 rooms,
conference and business meeting halls, restaurants and other
facilities, will contribute to this goal.
