An explosive remnant was discovered at the Garagaji cemetery in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district.
The Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) told Caliber.Az that an operational team was dispatched to the site immediately after receiving a report about the discovery.
During an inspection of the cemetery grounds, an ammunition item dating back to the First Karabakh War was found buried at a depth of approximately 1.5 meters.
ANAMA personnel neutralised the explosive item.
