BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 15. The Central Bank
of Iran (CBI) has released the official exchange rates for foreign
currencies as of August 15.


According to the CBI's announced rates, the value of 35
currencies went up, while 11 currencies fell compared to August
11.


The official rate for $1 is 1,532,470 rials, while one euro is
valued at 1,774,698 rials. On August 11, the euro was priced at

The CBI adopted the SANA system for currency exchange offices,
where one euro costs 1,796,893 rials and $1 costs 1,551,635.


On the black market, $1 is worth about 1,87-1,90 million rials,
while one euro is worth 2,17-2,20 million rials.
