BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 15. Joint programs of
entrepreneurship and technology center ARDVENTURE and international
technology park Astana Hub will help Kazakh startups enter the
Turkish market and expand their presence in the Middle East and
North Africa (MENA) region, an ARDVENTURE representative told
Trend.
"International expansion has become more than just a growth
strategy for technology startups—it is now an essential component
of long-term sustainability and competitiveness. At ARDVENTURE,
supporting startups from different countries in accessing new
markets through Türkiye is one of our strategic priorities," the
representative said.
According to the representative, the partnership with Astana Hub
is viewed as an important opportunity to strengthen cooperation
between the innovation ecosystems of Kazakhstan and Türkiye.
"In this context, we see our partnership with Astana Hub as a
valuable opportunity. By strengthening collaboration between our
two ecosystems, we aim to reach a greater number of startups, help
entrepreneurs gain a deeper understanding of both the Turkish and
Kazakh innovation ecosystems, and develop joint programs that
support international expansion," the representative said.
The company noted that the goal of the cooperation is not only
to facilitate startups' access to new markets but also to create
opportunities for connecting them with investors, corporate
partners, and new business development opportunities.
According to ARDVENTURE, through its locations in Ankara and
Istanbul, ARDVENTURE provides startups with access to Türkiye's
government-supported R&D and innovation ecosystem, while also
offering incubation and acceleration programs, mentoring, business
development support, investment readiness services, and
internationalization guidance.
In addition, startups will be able to benefit from ARDVENTURE's
investment mechanisms, including its Venture Capital Investment
Fund (GSYF), Venture Capital Investment Trust (GSYO), and
crowdfunding network. These instruments provide access to
investors, corporate companies, and strategic business
partners.
"Türkiye's strategic position as a bridge between Europe, the
Middle East, North Africa (MENA), and the Turkic world also creates
significant advantages. We believe Türkiye serves as a strong
regional hub for technology startups pursuing international growth,
and that the joint programs we develop with Astana Hub will
contribute to helping Kazakh startups expand into both the Turkish
market and the broader MENA markets," the company representative
said.
In May 2026, on the sidelines of GITEX AI Kazakhstan 2026 in
Almaty, ARDVENTURE and the international innovation cluster Astana
Hub signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership aimed at
developing the venture ecosystem and strengthening technological
ties between Kazakhstan and Türkiye.
