BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. The Ministry of
Finance of Azerbaijan has announced the outcomes of monitoring for
the execution of the consolidated budget plans for 2025 in sectors
involved in the reforms of the result-based budget mechanism's
introduction.
This is reflected in a report published by the ministry.
The monitoring results cover the "Education", "Agriculture", and
"Environmental protection" sectors involved in the reforms of the
implementation of the results-based budget mechanism. Within the
framework of monitoring, the dynamics of implementation of
strategic goals and result indicators in the mentioned sectors, as
well as the correlation between allocated budget funds and result
indicators, were analyzed, and methodological recommendations,
ratings, and other issues arising from the results of the analyses
were reflected in the document.
The document is prepared and published in accordance with the
"Rules for the preparation of the medium-term expenditure
framework" approved by the decree No. 235 of the President of
Azerbaijan dated August 24, 2018, and the decree No. 71s of the
Cabinet of Ministers dated January 30, 2026, "On the preparation of
the draft state budget of Azerbaijan for 2027".
