BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 13. Peru views the
reopening of its embassy in Baku as an important step in developing
relations with Azerbaijan, given the country's strategic location
in the Caucasus and its energy and trade potential.

foreign policy priorities of the new Peruvian government and the
activities of Foreign Minister Carlos Espa.
