BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11. President of the
Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva
attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Nakhchivan Hotel
Complex on August 11.


This was reported by the press service of the President of
Azerbaijan.


Ramin Guluzade, Head of the President’s Administrative Services
Department, briefed the head of state and the First Lady on the
construction project.


The complex will cover a total area of more than 1 hectare. In
addition to a seven-story hotel building, technical buildings and
auxiliary facilities will be established on the site. The hotel
will be capable of accommodating 307 guests at a time and will
feature 131 rooms, including specially equipped rooms for persons
with physical disabilities.


The hotel building will include various catering facilities, a
cafe, a restaurant, and an event and banquet hall. The hall will
accommodate 350 people for banquets and 500 people for
conferences.


Meeting, conference, and office rooms, as well as a gym, will
also be provided. The construction of an underground parking lot is
also planned.
