Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Georgian mixed martial artist Merab Dvalishvili, a former UFC bantamweight champion, have sparred on a platform set up in the open sea, according to Home Of Fight.

The unusual training session took place on a platform surrounded by water. Both men ended up in the sea at the end of the bout, Caliber.Az reports.

Zuckerberg has previously been linked to a potential public fight with Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. Musk challenged Zuckerberg to a match, but the proposed bout never took place.

Dvalishvili, 35, has a professional MMA record of 21 wins and five losses. He lost his UFC bantamweight title to Russian fighter Petr Yan in December 2025.
