BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 7. The State Financial
Control Service under the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan
completed financial control measures in 83 organizations during the
first half of 2026.
This is reflected in the report of the Ministry of Finance for
the first half of 2026.
According to the information, 51 of the 83 organizations for
which control measures were completed were inspected based on
decisions received from law enforcement agencies, and 32 were
inspected as part of unscheduled inspections.
As a result of oversight measures carried out during the
reporting period, 91.6 million manat ($53.9 million) was recovered
for the state.
In addition, preliminary financial control measures prevented
potential financial violations involving 2.6 million manat ($1.53
million).
The Ministry of Finance noted that these oversight measures are
part of broader efforts to ensure the efficient use of public
funds, strengthen financial discipline, and promote the targeted
use of budget resources.
