BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 6. A public hearing at
the Baku Court of Appeal is continuing today on appeals filed by
Armenian nationals Arayik Harutyunyan, Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako
Sahakyan, Davit Ishkhanyan, David Babayan, Levon Mnatsakanyan and
others, who were convicted by the Baku Military Court on charges
related to crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes and other
serious offenses allegedly committed as a result of Armenia’s
military aggression against Azerbaijan.
The charges include the planning and waging of an aggressive
war, genocide, violations of the laws and customs of war,
terrorism, financing of terrorism, forcible seizure of power and
numerous other crimes.
The hearing is being held in an open court session.
