Five Executive Authorities migrated their IT systems to the “Government Cloud”

The implementation of the Decree No. 718 of the President of the
Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated 3 June 2019, "On
measures for the establishment of the Government Cloud (G-cloud)
and the provision of cloud services," is ongoing.

As part of the implementation of the Decree, the Executive
Authority of Sumgayit City, as well as the Executive Authorities of
Salyan, Shamkir, Agsu and Hajigabul districts, have migrated their
information systems and IT resources to the “Government Cloud”.

The above-mentioned executive authorities have hosted their IT
resources at the Baku Main Data Center operated by “AzInTelecom”
LLC. As part of the migration, “AzInTelecom” provided the
institutions with Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) virtual server
services, enabling them to achieve high availability for their
critical systems.

It should be noted that, within the framework of the “Government
Cloud” project, government institutions are carrying out the full
or partial migration of their IT systems to “AzInTelecom” data
centres. As a result, institutions reduce their operational IT
costs while improving the performance of their information systems.
They also benefit from a secure and resilient IT infrastructure, as
well as 24/7 monitoring services.

cloud services in accordance with the international TIER III
standard.
