BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 4. On 4 August 2026,
SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Péter Szijjártó, Head of
External Relations and New Business Development at BYD.


During the meeting, information was provided on SOCAR’s green
energy agenda, including the renewable energy projects being
implemented jointly with its partners.







The parties exchanged views on potential cooperation in the
integration of renewable energy technologies into industrial
processes, the deployment of advanced technological solutions, and
other matters of mutual interest.
