Bahrain's Foreign Minister, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, held separate telephone consultations with the foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar to discuss bilateral cooperation and the evolving security situation in the Middle East.
According to the Bahraini Foreign Ministry, the talks focused on coordinated efforts to de-escalate regional tensions, reinforce security and stability, and promote diplomatic solutions to ongoing crises.
The ministers also discussed the importance of safeguarding freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and international waters, underscoring the need to ensure the safe and uninterrupted passage of commercial shipping in accordance with international law.
The conversations further highlighted the importance of continued coordination among Arab states on key regional and international issues, reflecting a shared commitment to enhancing collective security and addressing common challenges through dialogue and cooperation.
