A Turkish delegation comprising 20 media representatives is set to visit Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur on August 4 as part of a programme highlighting reconstruction, regional stability and cooperation in the South Caucasus.
The visit is being organised under the initiative titled "Geography of the World: Karabakh – Reconstruction, Stability and Regional Cooperation in the South Caucasus," Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Speaking to journalists, Aygun Attar, president of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Friendship, Cooperation and Solidarity Foundation (TADIV), said the delegation includes journalists who extensively covered the 44-day Patriotic War and contributed to presenting Azerbaijan's position to the international community.
Attar said the delegation visited Martyrs' Alley and the Memorial to Turkish Liberation Soldiers in Baku ahead of the trip.
"Tomorrow we will visit Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, where we will witness large-scale reconstruction and development works as well as the Great Return process," she said.
She also commented on Azerbaijan's development, saying, "During each visit to Azerbaijan, I witness the country's rapid development."
