BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 3. Tajikistan and
Kuwait reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation in
consular affairs during talks between Tajik Ambassador to Kuwait
Khusrav Noziri and Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular
Affairs Aziz Rahim Al-Daihani.
This was reflected in the statement by the Tajikistan's Foreign
Ministry.
The meeting, held on August 2 in Kuwait, focused on
strengthening bilateral engagement in consular matters and
enhancing coordination between the two countries' foreign
ministries.
"The parties confirmed their readiness to continue close
cooperation in the consular sphere," Tajikistan's Foreign Ministry
said in a statement.
Although the ministry did not disclose specific initiatives
discussed during the meeting, the talks underscored both
governments' interest in maintaining regular dialogue on consular
issues and ensuring effective cooperation in matters affecting
their citizens.
Consular cooperation typically includes coordination on visa and
travel matters, assistance to nationals abroad, legal and
administrative support, and the facilitation of official exchanges.
Strengthening such cooperation is considered an important component
of broader bilateral relations, particularly as countries seek to
improve the quality and efficiency of services provided to their
citizens overseas.
The meeting forms part of the ongoing diplomatic engagement
between Tajikistan and Kuwait, whose relations have continued to
develop through political dialogue and cooperation in a range of
areas. Regular contacts between officials from both countries have

According to Tajikistan's Foreign Ministry, the discussions
concluded with both sides reaffirming their commitment to
