Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has approved a protocol on providing financial assistance to the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports, citing information published on the official website of the head of state.
The protocol was concluded between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Palestine and formalizes financial support for the Palestinian diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
The agreement was signed in Baku on July 10. Under the presidential order, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to notify the Palestinian government that all domestic legal procedures required for the protocol's entry into force have been completed.
