BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 3. U.S. President
Donald Trump said that talks between the United States and Iran
will begin on Monday.


Trump made the remarks while speaking to reporters aboard Air
Force One.


"We're going to talk to them. The talks will begin Monday
afternoon," the U.S. president said.


According to Trump, he agreed to hold the negotiations at the
request of the governments of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab
Emirates (UAE), Qatar, as well as the Iranian side.


Trump stressed that he prefers reaching an agreement.


"I don't like to see people being killed," he said.
