BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 2. The U17 World
Wrestling Championships have concluded in Baku.
Team Azerbaijan finished the tournament with a total of seven
medals.
On the final day of competition, freestyle wrestler Ibrahim
Hasanov, competing in the 51 kg weight category, advanced to the
final and claimed the silver medal.
Earlier, Greco-Roman wrestlers Ali Javadli (45 kg), Abdurrahman
Huseynli (51 kg), and Isfahan Hasanov (80 kg) won silver medals,
while Omar Salmanov (48 kg), Elmir Cherkazov (60 kg), and Orkhan
Habibli (65 kg) claimed bronze medals.
