Poland has summoned the Russian ambassador to the Foreign Ministry after a missile landed on Polish territory, Prime Minister Donald Tusk has said in a post on X.


Following the incident, the Polish military activated its air defence systems in coordination with NATO, Caliber.Az reports.






A spokesperson for NATO's Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) said the alliance remains in close contact with the Polish authorities regarding the violation of the country's airspace.


According to him, NATO "will take all necessary measures to protect the territory" of its member states.
