ADA University and Ethiopia's Foreign Service Institute have formalised their cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding.
The signing ceremony, held at Ethiopia's Foreign Service Institute, brought together Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Sahiba Gafarova, officials from Ethiopian government institutions, members of the diplomatic corps, academics and international relations experts, as well as representatives of the academic community and students, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Addressing the audience on the topic "Azerbaijan and Ethiopia: Developing interparliamentary dialogue, cooperation and multilateralism," Gafarova highlighted the steady progress in relations between the two countries, noting that cooperation continues to expand both on a bilateral basis and within international organisations.
Pointing to Azerbaijan's innovative approach to public administration, she cited the implementation of the ASAN service model in Ethiopia through the MESOB Service Centre as a clear example of productive and mutually beneficial collaboration.
"A partnership based on trust and the exchange of knowledge and experience forms the basis for joint development and sustainable progress. ADA University, one of Azerbaijan's leading higher education institutions, makes an important contribution to the development of international academic ties under the leadership of Rector Hafiz Pashayev.
In this regard, the memorandum of understanding signed today between ADA University and Ethiopia's Foreign Service Institute will serve to expand cooperation in science and education and further strengthen friendly relations between our countries," she noted.
