Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) said it had detained an alleged agent of Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) in the city of Poltava, accusing him of gathering information on the movement routes and deployment locations of Ukrainian troops along the Poltava–Kharkiv highway.

According to the SBU, the suspect passed the information to the Russian side to help adjust strikes. He has been charged with high treason, the agency said.
