Türkiye is continuing efforts to contain large-scale wildfires across nine provinces, with thousands of emergency personnel, aircraft, and ground vehicles deployed to battle the blazes.
Firefighting operations involve 3,514 personnel, 23 aircraft, 54 helicopters, and 1,035 ground vehicles, Caliber.Az reports via Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
Authorities have evacuated residents from several affected areas. In Muğla Province, a state hospital in the Seydikemer district was evacuated due to the threat of the advancing wildfire.
