Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held talks with Khalil al-Hayya, the newly appointed head of Hamas’s political bureau, focusing on the situation in the Gaza Strip and ongoing efforts to resolve the conflict.


During the meeting, Fidan said Ankara would continue to support the peace process in Gaza and expressed appreciation for Hamas’s role in those efforts, according to TRT Haber.


The discussions also covered a range of broader regional issues, the report said.
