The Israeli military said Hezbollah launched an explosive drone at an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) engineering vehicle in southern Lebanon overnight on July 29, describing the attack as a violation of the ceasefire agreement.

According to the IDF, the drone targeted an engineering vehicle operating near the Ali al-Taher Ridge within what it described as the Security Zone. The military said no Israeli soldiers were injured in the incident, Caliber.Az reports.

The IDF accused Hezbollah of breaching the ceasefire, calling the drone attack a "blatant violation" by the Iran-backed armed group.

The military added that its forces continue to operate in the Ali al-Taher Ridge area and said they would not allow militants to establish a presence or carry out attacks against Israeli troops.
