BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 28. The Baku Court of
Appeal has concluded hearing closing arguments in the appeal case
filed by Armenian nationals convicted by the Baku Military Court of
crimes committed during Armenia's military aggression against
Azerbaijan. The defendants, including Arayik Harutyunyan, Arkadi
Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, Davit Ishkhanyan, David Babayan, Levon
Mnatsakanyan and others, were previously convicted of crimes
against peace and humanity, war crimes, including planning and
waging a war of aggression, genocide, violations of the laws and
customs of war, terrorism, financing terrorism, the violent seizure
of power, and numerous other offenses.
