The Tagansky District Court of Moscow has fined TikTok Pte. Ltd. 4 million rubles (about $51,000) for failing to comply with a directive issued by Russia's media regulator.
The court said the platform violated article 19.7.10-4 of Russia's Code of Administrative Offences, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Telegram channel of Moscow's courts of general jurisdiction.
Court materials state that TikTok failed to report the outcome of its review of user complaints and did not provide information on pages containing prohibited content that had been blocked, as required by Roskomnadzor.
