On July 28, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said it intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) near the border with Jordan, adding that the aircraft did not enter Israeli territory.


"Earlier today, the Israeli Air Force intercepted a UAV in the area of the Jordanian border. The UAV did not cross into Israeli territory," the military said in a statement.


The IDF said the launch site of the drone is being investigated and added that air raid sirens were not activated in line with operational protocol.
