Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed hope that Slovakia will play a constructive role in developing relations between China and the European Union and contribute to resolving existing differences.


During a meeting with Slovak President Peter Pellegrini, who is on a three-day state visit to China, Xi said that equal consultations and efforts to find mutually acceptable solutions while preserving existing differences are key conditions for advancing bilateral relations, Caliber.Az reports, citing Xinhua.




The Chinese leader also highlighted prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries in areas such as clean energy, the digital economy, robotics and artificial intelligence.
