Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in the United States.
In a Telegram post, Ukraine’s leader outlined the key objectives of his US visit, with a particular focus on defence cooperation and strategic priorities, Caliber.Az reports.
“Already in the United States of America. The schedule includes meetings with President Trump, his team, and those who can support our defence. Priority number one is missile defence systems and strategic cooperation with the United States. Peace must come closer.
Of course, on behalf of all of Ukraine, we will honour the memory of Lindsey Graham [the US senator who died on July 11, 2026] and join everyone at the ceremony in Washington to remember his contribution to strengthening security and freedom in the Euro-Atlantic region and other parts of the world.
Thank you to everyone who is helping protect people's lives!” Zelenskyy wrote.
