Russia is continuing discussions with Telegram’s leadership as authorities seek to resolve ongoing access problems with the messaging platform, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Speaking to journalists, Peskov confirmed that contacts between Russian officials and the company are underway, but suggested that Telegram has so far shown limited engagement in the discussions.

“Contacts are taking place, but there has not been much activity from the messenger’s side so far,” Peskov said, according to Russian media reports.
