Russia has doubled its exports of sunflower oil to Georgia in June compared with a year earlier, with purchases rising to $5.2 million, according to data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia.


Data showed Georgia imported $5.2 million worth of Russian sunflower oil in June, up from $2.9 million in the same month last year, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.


Russia remained Georgia's largest supplier of sunflower oil during the month.


Ukraine ranked second with exports worth $607,600, followed by Hungary at $86,400.
