Ukraine's Sea Ports Authority said Russian forces carried out overnight strikes on civilian vessels in the ports of the Mykolaiv region on July 27.

According to the authorities, the vessels targeted had remained stranded in Ukrainian ports since the start of the full-scale war in 2022 and were not engaged in commercial operations.

One person was killed, and several others were injured in the attack.

Earlier, Russia's Defence Ministry announced that Russian attack drones had struck two bulk carriers in the port of Mykolaiv, claiming they were unloading military cargo at the time of the strike.
